WHY THE NAME?
I named this coffee after the New Jersey punk band whom I was lucky enough to play shows with during my brief stint playing with my own punk band. They were instrumental for my early punk development. They embodied punk not as an aesthetic, but as a mentality, an ethos. Question authority, educate, don’t take anything for granted, push boundaries. They were foundational to me, like this coffee is foundational to our espresso blend and Mishap overall.

This Bochica blend is sourced from smallholders in Colombia’s most famous coffee-growing regions (Huila, Tomila, Caldas, Risaralda, Antioquia). The diversity in climate and geographic conditions of Colombia, produces a variety of unique flavors in coffee and ensures Colombia produces fresh crops nearly all year round.
